Applicants are now invited to apply the John Dillon Fellowships for 2017 entry. Eligible candidates should be associated with ACIAR bilateral projects that are either active or completed in the last 24 months. Fellows are expected to 5 to 6 weeks agricultural research in Australia. A range of interesting benefits will be given to each of the successful fellows. The application deadline is 31 August 2017.
The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) is offering 8 to 10 fellowships in 2017 under the John Dillon Fellowship to outstanding mid-career agricultural scientists and economists from ACIAR partner countries (developing countries that ACIAR works in). Fellows will be given career development training and opportunities in Australia, where they will be honed in leadership skills in the areas of agricultural research management, agricultural policy and/or extension technologies. The visit programs will be tailored for the selected Fellow to meet the his/her individual needs and those of their employing organisation.
There is no detail information, however, all fellows may expect to receive benefits of their participation in lectures or other academic activities at various Australian organizations.
